Adopt a Pastor
In Ukraine, Ghana, and Togo, we have connected with church planters and pastors that have a passion for proclaiming the Gospel and loving on people. However, the communities they serve are often in rural areas, where people are struggling to make ends meet. As such, the church planters and pastors themselves have to look for other work so that they can provide for their families while continuing to care for their congregations. Below are some of the pastors that need your support, so that they can dedicate their time and resources to glorifying God’s Kingdom.

Ukraine Ghana Togo
Ukraine
The Roma Ukrainian pastors have been working tirelessly and serving the Lord fearlessly. Although they do not have much and are suffering financially, they give all that they have to the church. CIM has partnered with the House of Mercy Foundation in Ukraine. In addition to offering training and support, CIM also donates a lump sum to the foundation, who will distribute the funds to the pastors monthly. Due to their Roma heritage, it is especially difficult for them to find employment locally. Sometimes they are forced to leave the country, their families and communities for long periods of time so that they can find temporary jobs. Your generous donations will go a long way in helping with their basic living expenses so that these church planters and pastors can devote their time and energy to ministering to their communities.
PASTOR ROODY AND WIFE MARIA
Pastor Roody and his wife Maria have been serving in the Radvanka settlement for 6 years. There are approximately 40 people that attend Sunday services. The church service is held in his home where he lives with his wife, 3 children, 5 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchildren. He does not get paid and needs to look for work to pay his bills. Unfortunately work is very hard to find. Pastor Rooney also only owns a Russian Bible so in preparing his sermons he needs to translate from Russian to Ukrainian, an additional challenge in his ministry.
PASTOR EDIK AND WIFE LESYA
Pastor Edik and his wife Lesya have been serving at the Serednye church for over 10 years. Their church membership is 27 and close to 50 people attend on Sundays. The House of Mercy Foundation has helped them build a chapel. Often Pastor Edik travels to other churches to help when their pastors are away. They have 8 children and 14 grandchildren.
PASTOR ZHENJA AND WIFE IRA
Pastor Zhenja and his wife Ira (pictured above with some of their grandchildren) serve at the Ruski Komarovci church. As there is no financial support, Pastor Zhenja has travelled to Hungary to look for work to support his family. It is not uncommon for pastors to travel to other countries to work for two or three months at a time to earn some money for their families. During his absence, Pastor Edik has been helping out at this church. They have 10 members and 30 people attend regularly.
PASTOR ALBERT AND WIFE OLYA
Pastor Albert and his wife Olya have been serving at the Esen church for 9 years. As the village is right next to the Hungarian border, they use Hungarian to serve their approximately 60-person congregation. He has 8 children and 36 grandchildren. Aside from a $40 monthly pension that his wife receives, Pastor Albert and Olya has no income.
PASTOR RUSLAN
Pastor Ruslan has been pastoring the church in the Perechin settlement for over 10 years. He has also been serving as the pastor for Piragova settlement for the last few years as well. Please keep Pastor Ruslan and his family in your prayers.
PASTOR VLAD
Pastor Vlad heads our Roma Ministry in Ukraine through the House of Mercy. He has been a pastor in the Solomon village Church for 9 years. His wife Diana, works as a dentist. Pastor Vlad was elected the lead pastor in the Uzhgorod, Berezny and Perechin districts and your prayers for him and his family would be greatly appreciated. Please lift up his ministry and the people that he serves in the various districts in prayer.
Togo
The EGCT (Eglise de la Grace en Christ du Togo, in French) church isn’t a big church, but it is one of the few churches that are truly expanding God’s kingdom through the making of true disciples in the country, as the Lord commanded His people. EGCT is dedicated to reaching the lost everywhere — in towns, villages or remote places that are difficult to go by car — through faithful door-to-door and radio evangelism. All EGCT churches lead their members to faith essentially through these two ways of evangelism only, while other churches (especially big town-based churches) mostly attract their attendees with their material possessions and preaching of false gospel.
The church members are mostly people living in survival mode; many of them have difficulty even with paying their children’s school fees, but they are sustained through the true hope of salvation that we have in Jesus Christ alone. However, this means that most EGCT churches can’t afford to pay their pastors and as such, the pastors and church planters cannot dedicate full time and energy to ministry. In addition to serving the church, the pastors and church planters take on multiple jobs too. That’s why CIM has come alongside the EGCT church. We are called to be Christ’s hands and feet to carry out His great commission to all nations, and we must support the glocal church body for the sake of God’s kingdom. CIM provides support spiritually, physical, and financially: to train untrained church planters, to support the radio evangelism, youth, children and women ministries, and micro-enterprises, and to needy students within the church, and to help the church plant new churches in remote, mostly animist and Islamic places, as well. EDOH RAPHAEL
Edoh is a church planter in Nanégbé—a Lomé suburb. He is married with 5 children.

Essédo is a dedicated church planter serving the Evou Apéganme Village Church.
BADOMTA ATONWATA
Badomta is serving as a the pastor at Atakpamé Campement Church. In addition to taking care of his community, Badomta is also a single parent to one son.
ABOSSOU KODJO
Abossou is a missionary that has been serving in the city of Kara, in northern Togo since January 2020.
Ghana
It has been an amazing journey working alongside the Evangelical Church of Ghana (ECG) for the past 17 years. We have seen the Holy Spirit move families and communities to commit their life to Christ and it has been a joy to serve alongside faithful brothers and sisters. We ask for your financial support and prayers over these humble and passionate pastors and church planters, working to care for communities in northern Ghana.
PASTOR THOMAS
Is currently pastoring the Guno ECG Church in northern Ghana. Aside from his main church he has 4 additional preaching points in nearby villages. He is married to Priscilla and has 4 children.
PASTOR MARK
Is currently pastoring the Yapei ECG Church in northern Ghana. Aside from his main church, he has 3 additional preaching points in nearby villages. He is married to Esther and has four children. In addition to his basic living expenses, he also has an immediate need for funds to help fix/replace his motorcycle. It was his main mode of transportation to visit church members.
PASTOR GIDEON
Is currently pastoring the Nkwanta ECG Church in north eastern Ghana. Aside from his main church he has 9 additional preaching points in nearby villages. He is married to Comfort and has 5 children.
