A New Year
We have much to look forward to this New Year as we ask and trust God to guide us in our family and ministry life.
Thank you for your generous support in the many ways you have blessed us and the ministry in Ghana. We have started the first phase of the roofing project for the church in Gmanejere by purchasing some of the building materials for carpenters to build the frames in Tamale. These will then be transported to Gmanajere, in which a team of about 8 carpenters will begin the work on the ground. We are aiming to have this completed before March. Please keep praying for the logistics and details of this task.
The primary school in Gmanejere ECG celebrated their one year anniversary on January 20th with a Thanksgiving Service. This is the church structure (that also currently serves as the school classrooms) which will be roofed next month.
This month, we also raised enough funds to purchase a motorcycle for Pastor Ebenezer, a newly posted pastor in Yeji. Prior to this new motorcycle, he borrowed the motorcycles of the elders and church members in Yeji in order to do visitations in the surrounding communities. This is the third motorcycle we have been able to help the local pastors with in the last three months- all purely from your gifts of love and desire to support the pastors in their ministries. I am always amazed by our God who provides so abundantly and lavishly. Thanks be to God!
Our family is still preparing to move to Kpandai in March; closer to Enoch’s family, farm and where we have been building a home the last four years. Please pray for our family during this transition.
As always, we would love to hear how we can also be praying and supporting you from afar. We are always happy to hear from you and pray for you.
God bless,
Janice, Enoch & Lucy Jabab
