Hello from Calgary
Hello from the Jabab family in Calgary!
We thank God for reuniting the three of us together in Calgary and are grateful for your prayer support. I will be formally going on maternity leave after next week as we await baby’s arrival.
We are so grateful to everyone who has/is financially supporting our ministry. During my maternity leave, I’ll be eligible for government EI support. I intend on returning to ministry in Ghana some time in mid 2027. God-willing, I’ll spend the majority of my maternity leave in Calgary with my family (Enoch will return to Ghana in December after Christmas, and come back for about a month before we return to Ghana as a family of 4…date to be determined).
During this time you may choose to stop your monthly contributions, continue donating on a monthly basis to the “International Worker” ministry account, or you may choose to redirect your giving to the CIM General Fund or Ghana specific ministries. Please message me if you have any questions! God bless you for your friendship, encouragement, prayers and financial support over the years.
We received an encouraging report from the church in Gmanejere regarding their Mission School, in which they now hold their classes in the roofed church building. What a difference a year makes- we thank God for answering prayer and His faithfulness!

We are continually in awe of how God answers prayers and is always at work behind the scenes, thanks to His grace and mercies. Please keep praying with us as we head towards a new, big transition for our family. Please also remember the pastors and communities in Ghana as they continue to outreach and disciple their church members. Pray for the CIM Australia team and the two Canadian team leaders who will visit Ghana for a short term trip in August- September as they make preparations for a week-long students program for the Yeji ECG Academy, as well as time of visitations and evangelism. Lastly, please continue to pray for CIM Canada’s executive director Rev. Isaac Quan regarding his health. Thank you for your prayer support.
God bless you,
Janice, Enoch & Lucy Jabab
