This STM team comprised of three brothers and sisters from Toronto. They went to three locations (Bimbilla, Yeji and Kpandai) in Ghana to visit and share with the local people.
- Bimbilla: While Anna ran a workshop for the teachers in Bimbilla and Yeji, Gary and Olivia ran a program for the children. They did visitations with a local pastor and shared the Gospel in small and big group gatherings.
- Yeji: The team led devotions to the children in Yeji Academy. Anna and Olivia joined the women’s gathering at a local pastor’s household. They also participated in two worship services in one of the villages led by the pastor.
- Kpandai: Anna ran a two-day workshop for teachers in Mbowura and Bassarikura. The team shared a message at a Sunday Service at an all-girl’s school.
The purpose of this trip was to bring delegates who attended the CCCOWE Conference to some of the sites that CIM is doing work in. Team members were from all over the world including Canada, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Australia, USA, and Malaysia. Areas visited were Tamale, Bimbilla, and Kpandai.
This STM team was led by Rev. Paul Lam and the main purpose was to visit the church plant that Burnaby Pacific Grace MB Church is supporting in Gmacjere. Most of their work was done in the Gushegu and Gmacjere area. Children ministry, visitations, sharing of testimonies, speaking at church services and a baptism were some of the work that this team was involved in.
This STM team of 4 brothers and sisters from Ambassadors for Christ in Vancouver went to Atakpamé, Anié, and Lomé in Togo. The team conducted children, women, and youth workshops; did home visitation and evangelism. The brothers also preached on Sunday as well.
This STM team was led by Rev. Xavier Law and comprised of brothers and sisters from Vancouver and Hong Kong. The team spent most of their time in the Tamale area and surrounding villages. Aside from visitations in the rural villages, they also shared their testimonies and the gospel messages in Sunday services and taught at the village school in Torope.
This STM team was co-led by Rev. Isaac Quan and Mrs. Linda Chan and comprised of members from Calgary, Canada and Sydney, Australia. The team did ministry in Ada with the Friends of Jesus organization before travelling to Atebubu and Yeji where they did visitations, shared their testimonies, led children’s ministry, performed baptism, spoke at Sunday services and led a workshop at the village school in Yeji.
This STM team was led by Rev. Kenny Wong and comprised of brothers and sisters from South Calgary Chinese Evangelical Free Church. This team went to the Salaga, Bimbilla, and Kpandai areas. They did visitations in villages, led VBS, women’s ministry, and visited village schools in Subrini and Wbonwura.
This STM team was led by Rev. Isaac Quan and comprised of members from Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver. Their main task was to visit villages in the Zabrama area near Kintampo to see if it is viable for ECG to plant churches in those villages. They took part in visitations, speaking at Sunday services, sharing the gospel through various means and even spoke on a Christian radio station.
This STM team of 6 brothers and sisters from Montreal City West Baptist Church went to Atakpamé, Anié, and Lomé in Togo. The team conducted children VBS, women, and youth workshops; did home visitation and evangelism. The brothers also preached on Sunday as well.
A team of 3 brothers and sisters from Montreal Chinese Alliance Church visited Atakpamé, Kintampo, Anié, and Lomé in Togo. The team participated in home visitations and street evangelism; a pastor conducted trainings for church planters at the Bible School on the Epistle of Ephesians, preached on Sundays and participated in radio broadcasting while the others got involved in teaching piano lessons, leading children/youth ministry and women workshops.
